What video card would best support my 24-inch monitor @ 1920 x 1200 for video gaming?

What should I look for in a video card? Lots of RAM, or speed? I'm looking at newegg. I'd like to play modern games at this resolution.

Also, any processor recommendations?|||get something like the PNY 512 mb 8800 GT will be sufficient|||Just as megapixels tell you nothing about the quality of a camera, RAM tells you nothing about a video card. To game at 1920x1200 you need AT LEAST an nVidia GTX260 ($300) or an ATI HD4870 ($300). Anything less and you'll have problems with having a steady frame rate.

|||Just look on ebay. You can get the video cards at half the price. Look for either NVidia or ATI, they are the two top brands in video cards. Maybe something with at minimum 128MB of ram.|||that is a mother f*ck*r monitor i think nvidia geforce 9800gt really good but quite exspensive and you can buy 5 and connect them together with adsl connection and you would have best graphix|||any card with 256mb or more should support that res.
