How can I find out what my video card is?

The driver I am using is vga.dll in Windows XP. I tried opening up my computer but the name of the video card wasn't on the card. Are their any programs that can scan my computer and find the video card. Also, when I go to device manager the video card has yellow ? with ! next to it.|||The video card is in yellow in device manager because, the video card driver is not installed properly or is not the correct version you installed. Probably an undetected hardware does not show up in DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag). Probably it'll not list in any hardware addressing softwares. Any ways you can try your luck. HWiNFO is a best software that lists all your hardwares in a simple but elaborate way. You can even save all your listings in HTML format for future use. HWiNFO download link: http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html

Hope this helps... & Good luck......|||Give Speccy a shot, its a fantastic piece of software from a wonderful studio, that makes great programs.

If that fails, because from what you're describing, the display adapter is installed incorrectly, you could always consult the documentation that came with your computer when you bought it.|||Press start

in the text bar type dxdiag in the text box

dxdiag is microsofts multimedia test program which will identify the graphics card or chipset.|||Go to the Start button,

Select the RUN command.

Type DXDIAG

Select "OK"
