How do I figure out what my video card is so I can download the latest driver?

A computer game I have isn't working because of this but I don't know how to find out what kind of video card is. Thanks!|||http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/Sys…

download this small software (about 900kb) and run it. It will show you all the details|||You can usually find out what your video hardware is by using the start menu and running (XP) or searching for (Vista/7) and then running DXDIAG.EXE. That should open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window. Click the Display tab, and the device name should be displayed. (There are other ways to get the same information)

Don't be too hopeful, however. If you're running a system with integrated graphics (built into the motherboard) those graphics usually don't have enough power to run modern games. In that case, a new video card (or PC) is needed, not just a software download.|||hi, a driver update software may help you get the driver you need correctly and easily. here is a link for video drivers:

http://ww.best-driver-updater.com/driver…

the program there, as i know, offers free scan and can get nearly any device drivers we need.

also, forums like http://forums.driverguide.com/ are good places to look for driver help too.

hope my information can be helpful to you. :)|||Right click My Computer. Go to Properties then Device Manager. It should be under Display Adapters.|||Do a search for BelarcAdvisor. Download it for free and it will scan your pc and tell you every detail about it.|||Look at your display properties.

If there is nothing in there, open the cpu up.
