My almost 5 year old laptop, Dell Inspiron 9300, has a bad video card and needs to be replaced. I've got the Dell manual online but it really needs better illustrations. Anyone have a link to instructions to what should be a fairly easy switch out of my old video card? thanks lots|||Some video cards are board mounted and Integrated into the main board is yours this type ?
if it is changeable then from my experience the whole laptop needs dismantling and then once the MB is clear the video board can be unscrewed and changed.
All in all it is not an easy job and very time consuming and with the cost of parts and time it mostly works out that a new replacement laptop is actually cheaper
