My cousin wants to upgrade her video card to something with at least 128mb dedicated memory. Her chipset is SiS 672 with Mirage 3 Graphics (shared only) on Vista Premium (not sure on the exact computer name but we know its an Acer).
What video cards should we be looking at when we look on Ebay or computer stores?|||If the motherboard even has an expansion slot, it will be pci-e x16. How big is the upgrade budget here? My recommended choices, in order of increasing price, are the radeon 4670, 4770, and 4850. I am not an ATi fanboy, its simply that they are a better value than their nvidia competitors.|||check if u have a pci express or a agp slot on the mother board if its older agp slot i suggest u go for agp graphic cards ... if its new pci express slot u should go for pci express graphic cards ... go for ati brand or nvidia brand ...
