How do I download a video card converter?

I was trying to play DVDs on windows media player and it said that I need to download a video card converter. How can I download a free video card converter?|||The previous answers are all trying to get you to install unknown software and from the way the answers are worded, I would be very uncertain of doing it. You don't really need a 'video card converter' to view DVDs on your computer. The two pieces of free software I use and recommend are as follows:

All of these free softwares will play your DVDs without needing any other codecs or downloads. Simply download and install.



You may be able to find something like PowerDVD on a software CD. I have for years used LG burners and they have a CD which includes PowerDVD in a fully usable version. This software may integrate with MS Media Player, but then again I don't use it.
