How do I figure which replacement video card to buy?

I am pretty sure the video card in my computer has died, (desktop PC) It is a Radeon 9600 Pro which I think is some kind of fancy gaming card. I want to replace it with something inexpensive since all I do is get on the net and use Office apps. How do I figure out what to buy? My late husband, who loved to game, built this computer and I have no manuals, etc, Thanks!|||The Radeon 9600 Pro is an older card which uses the AGP interface, so you'll need an AGP card to replace it.

If you're not a gamer, a basic inexpensive card like a GeForce FX5200 will be fine.

Here's one with free shipping:

And here's a Radeon 9250, but why pay $7 shipping?
