How do you see how good your video card is on your computer?

Without opening the tower up, how would I see what my computers video card is? I have a DELL, and its Windows XP with SP 2.

Thank you.|||go to almost any freeware site,, or google " pc wizard" and down load this neat program,, its free and tells you about all your puter innards!!|||ok well just right click on My Computer and then select Properties then click on Hardware then Device Manager and look for Monitor or Display Adapters and it should tell you what your Video Card is there|||Right-click on "My Computer" and go down to "Properties" A box that says, "System Properties" should pop up. On the tabs above, there should be one called "Hardware" click there and once it's opened, click on "Device Manager" There you should see a list of devices. Look for "Display Adapters"

That's how I check mine.|||You could right click anywhere on the desktop and select properties. Then go and click on Settings and then Advanced. If it is there you can click Adapter and it should say most of what you are looking for.|||other than looking in your device manager , everest is a good little program .

you have to buy the latest version but older versions can be downloaded freeware
