Is it possible to raise my video cards ram without paying for a new video card or attachments.?

My video cards is at 128mb (and thats pretty bad). Is there a way to raise its ram without buying a new graphics card or attchment(s). And if not what would a good video card be (a video card that can easily handle a game like Crysis which is one of the most advanced games on the market if not THE best, very easily) and about how much would it cost?|||Ram is hardware---to get more ram you have to buy a video card with more ram. Talking about Crysis, you need more than a big video card for that game. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme in my Vista gaming rig and running Crysis at stock cpu clock then overclocking the cpu to 3.8 is like getting out of a station wagon and getting into a Corvette. The % your framerates go up is 50% of the % you overclock the cpu!(overclock 30%=15% faster framerates)

With an 8800GT you can run Crysis at med settings provided you have a lot of ram and a cpu that can keep up with the card. Don't go by the game demo--its a joke--the real game gets 3 times more demanding on the system especially near the end.

BTW, no such thing as a 620MB 8800GTS. They are either 640 or 512. A 512MB G92 8800GT will beat the 640MB GTS with the older gpu easily. As far as 2 9800GX2s--you don't need to spend a ridiculous amount of money on 2 of those. A 1GB video card that only addresses 512MB of ram and shoots its hot air into the case, to me, is a joke. 2 9800GTXs in SLI will run Crysis at very high settings for the price of one 9800GX2, you'll have all 1GB of ram addressable and the hot air will be shot out the back of the case like it should be.|||you can't increase the video ram, but you can increase the core, memory, and shader clock by downloading a program called rivatuner. This is called "overclocking" and it allows you to have your graphics card run at a faster pace. Note that this voids most warranties

If you want to feasible i would buy a single 8800GTS (w/ 620mb onboard memory, also make sure you have pcie ports and enough space in ur case) which should be a little over 200 on newegg.

If you want to handle the best games easily, first check and make sure you have PCIe ports on your mobo, have a quad core processor (or a nice PPU w/ a core 2 duo), and have atleast 2 gigs of ram. Then if those are in existance, i would buy two 9800GX2 graphics cards. This'll run crysis extremely easily. Cost you about 1.5 grand....
