I'm looking to get a game for my PC. I checked up on the requirements, and the only thing I'm missing is the right video card. Apparently, I need to get a new one. The requirements are "256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT or better," or "ATI Radeon 1600XT or better." However, I'd like to get something that's pretty good all-around, in case I want to get some more games. What should I get?|||Honestly, those cards are all WAY more than you need. Just get a Radeon HD 4670 and you'll be fine. It's $65 at newegg.com and runs fine on a 450W power supply.

A personal favorite (and very popular) video card can be found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…|||One of these or better
http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?…|||Anything in the nVidia 8 or 9 series is really good, especially in price nowadays. They cost around $100 and will be able to run ANY game you want to play. I am running two 9800 gt's in SLI and couldn't be happier.|||Depends on what resolution you will be running on your monitor. If its something around 1280x1024, then a 100 dollar 9800GT would do fine.
If you are running 1680X1050, then I would say get a GTS 250.
Anything above that, I would get at least a GTX 260.
If you need benchmarks, try www.tomshardware.com or www.guru3d.com.
Pay attention to your power supply wattage, as well as how many 6 pin PCI express power connectors you have. Some video cards require two of them. They do come with adapters, but thats a short term fix. Manufactures sites list minimum wattage reqirements.
I like Nvidia, so thats the cards I listed. I am not familiar with mainstream ATI cards.
